Development Process
We developed Content Flow by embedding ourselves with several marketing teams to witness their daily workflow challenges firsthand. Using an agile methodology, we focused our initial sprints on building a flexible and intuitive content calendar, as this was the biggest pain point. Constant feedback from our beta partners was critical in designing the customizable approval workflows, ensuring they could adapt to any team's structure.
The application is built with React and Next.js, providing a fast, collaborative, and real-time user experience. The backend, built with Node.js, uses a secure NoSQL database to manage all content assets, user permissions, and version histories. WebSockets power the real-time collaboration features, allowing multiple users to work together seamlessly. This robust architecture ensures the platform is not only user-friendly but also secure and scalable enough to handle enterprise-level content operations.
